SASS stands with our Indigenous and LGBTQ2S+ students and communities at Queen’s

In response to a cowardly note posted in residence last week that contained racist, homophobic, and threatening language targeted at members of the Queen’s community:

Student Academic Success Services stands with Indigenous and LGBTQ2S+ members of the Queen’s community. We reject hatred; we reject homophobia, transphobia, and racism.

Our mission is to support all students at Queen’s. Threats of violence, and hatred of difference, have no place at SASS or at Queen’s; we strive to provide a safe and welcoming space in which everyone can learn and build scholarly confidence.

Please contact us if there are specific supports you’d like to see at SASS.
