SASS peer volunteers recognized at Student Affairs appreciation event
Peer Learning Assistants and Peer Writing Assistants were fêted on Wednesday (along with many other groups of Queen’s peer mentors, educators, and helpers) at the Student Affairs’ Student Recognition Reception. Vice-Provost and Dean Ann Tierney and Student Affairs Directors celebrated peer leadership and service at the event, held in the ARC.
Our own PLA Roopa Suppriah was the recipient of the Brian Yealland Community Service Award, awarded to Queen’s students who make a significant contribution to society by working with and encouraging youth to realize their potential. Congratulations, Roopa!
