What’s new at SASS?

Write Nights

Write Nights is back this semester, starting January 19, and we’re now offering 2 sessions a week to accommodate as many students as possible! Write Nights is a weekly program that brings students together to work on sentence-level writing skills. Join our English as an additional (EAL) coordinators from SASS to practice writing models, ask questions, explore conventions, and become more skilled in grammar and style.

Register here for any of our online sessions.

Writealong

Are you working on complex papers this semester? Join SASS’s weekly Writealong sessions starting January 27 via Zoom! Writealong is a writing support group designed to guide you throughout the writing process and help you meet your goals. At Writealong, you’ll have the opportunity to work on any writing project, plan a weekly writing commitment, and work with a group of like-minded students to help you persist in your papers and maintain accountability. We also have a SASS Peer Writing Assistant (PWA) available to offer private consultations if you need support.

Want to take part in our writing community? Sessions take place every Wednesday on January 27-February 24 from 2:00-3:00pm EST. Register here.
