SASS provides academic support for all Queen's students, whether they are
- graduate students
- students with English as an Additional Language
As an undergraduate student, you will face many learning and writing challenges as you progress through your program–essays and reports become more complex, effectively incorporating research into your writing becomes more important, and the types of assignments you may be required to write become more diverse.
Graduate students have highly developed academic skills, but graduate school poses its own challenges that may prompt students to seek support. SASS can help! Many graduate students find our appointments, workshops, and resources practical and effective.
SASS offers a number of programs and resources to help multilingual students be successful at university. Both undergraduate and graduate students can improve communication and build confidence by working on academic English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
